About Us
Sarah's Circle, a 501(c) non-profit located
in the Adams Morgan area of Washington, D.C., is an award-winning,
affordable-housing residence and Wellness Center providing
comprehensive programs and services for economically disadvantaged
seniors.
Somehow, as our economy improves every year,
it leaves behind more than 14,000 senior citizens residing
in Washington, D.C. They continue to live in abject poverty.
Those trying to survive on social security usually have less
than $30 per week after rent. They are forced to choose between
food, heat, or their medications. They are alone.
It is for these people that Sarah's Circle was
created.
Sarah's Circle is honored
to receive the MetLife Foundation Award for Excellence in
Affordable Housing.
Sarah's
