What?
The Circle
Ball 2008 celebrates the 25th Anniversary of Sarah's Circle, a
nonprofit independent living
residence and wellness center for very low income seniors in
Washington, DC.
Why?
Washington, DC is home to 14,000 low-income senior citizens who
live on meager social security checks
in a city with a high cost of living. Sarah’s Circle provides
quality, affordable housing and a wide array
of support programs to enable these very low income seniors to
live independently, with dignity, and as
part of a supportive community of friends and neighbors. At
Sarah’s Circle, seniors create a home,
serve the community and celebrate life.

Ritz Carlton, 1150 22nd Street, NW, Washington, DC.
How?
A festive evening of cocktails, dining, dancing, a silent
auction, a retirement tribute to Ruth Sachs,
and the presentation of the Dole Award to Dr. Alan Greenspan.
