Sarah’s Circle is more than a place to live; Sarah’s Circle provides low-income seniors with a home and a supportive community. Our model is designed to help our residents age in place by providing a targeted array of supportive services, group programs, and individualized care to ensure continued success in independent living.
Sarah’s Circle is proud to be a congregate meal site for the DC Department of Aging and Community Living (DACL). Through this partnership, we offer a hot, nutritious lunch each weekday to low-income seniors age 62 and older. In addition, we provide nutrition seminars and periodic social events and meals to help our residents equip themselves with the knowledge and tools they need to make better food choices on their own, a vital skill in thriving independently.
Health & Exercise Services
Sarah’s Circle hosts a variety of yoga, meditation, tai chi, and exercise classes designed to help older adults improve cardiovascular health, balance, and stamina. Ideal for all fitness levels, including those in wheelchairs or who prefer to stay seated during activity, exercise is a great way to meet new people and improve critical health and wellness indicators.
